How to update Excel document with Sales Quote Lines

Hi :)

Using NAV 5.0

I've received a request for having a pre formatted Excel document (lets call it a template or style sheet) with some calculation functionalitet, updated with Lines from a Sales Quote.

The Excel document would then be able to calculate extended information based on the numbers from the Sales quote lines.

What is the best way to do this?

Is the Style Sheets functionality suited for this kind of thing?

    I don't think this can be done by Style Sheet. If the fields to be exported doesn't contain any flowfield then you can simply use Data connection property of Excel. For more complicated queries (eg. including flowfields) you can use Microsoft Query in Excel.
