NAV 2009 classic server service is failing - file nc_tcp.dll

Hello

Our customer has interesting problem. In irregular intervals, Navision classic server service fails and stops.
Customer had Nav 5.0 SP1 and service stopped approx 6 times per work week.

We upgraded Nav infrastructure to version 2009 R2 (application remained on old version) but the service is faliling again.

Please can you tell me, where to look for some solution?

    How big DBMS cache you are using?
    Is the infrastructure stable? Isn't there some broken devices? It could be because some scrambled packets.

    DBMS cache is 800 MB. on previous installation, it was approx 900 MB.

    yes, we also think that there must be some faulty network card or maybe switch/hub somewhere in network. because the same version of NAV 5.0 is running perfectly on other customer's networks

    is there some testing procedure specificcaly designed for NAV which can help us to find problem? or should we set up some kind of test server and observe it?

    Try with lower cache - 700MB is safe value, 800MB could be problem...
