Hello,
I am having a strange issue with NAV where users are reporting that their remote connection to our NAV server is being dropped. It seems that 50% of users are fine while the others are experiencing it. We are on NAV 5.0 SP1 with SQL 2008. All users login through the same portal. In the log we recieve this message:
Faulting application name: finsql.exe, version: 5.0.30482.0, time stamp: 0x4b472357
Faulting module name: ODBC32.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16688, time stamp: 0x4cb92961
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x0005df1f
Faulting process id: 0x10a8
Faulting application start time: 0x01cbf9d5c2964cd2
Faulting application path: E:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\CSIDE Client\finsql.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\ODBC32.dll
Report Id: 559ccbe1-65cd-11e0-8698-001422b19d4a
I tried to look for this in the forums but didn't have any luck. Have any of you experienced this? I appreciate the help in advance.
Thanks

Just an update on this to hopefully help someone in the future.
The root cause was never determined by our system admin so it was decided just to reboot all servers. So far this seems to have worked. If we find the actually cause to this, I will post it as well.
Thanks.0
