Copy Rows - RTC

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Copy Rows functionality can be enabled/disabled?

My customer wants to be able to set this per user.

    no such functionality.

    There have been many threads on this subject about preventing copy and paste.

    Enable/disable is not controllable in R2.

    We are planning to introduce a more advanced copy/pasting functionality in V7 but disability has not been considered so far.

    Do you want this per user? Or in general for all users?

    Thats what I thought :-(

    Well in my personal opinion the best thing would be if we had access to the code, then we can program in whatever the customer wants :-).

    Another good way is if it could be controlled using permissions, i.e. you can specify per user/per table whether or not they can copy it. The same thing applies to export to excel functionality. Sometimes things like contact lists are just too sensitive to be allowed to be copied, in the excel instance I managed to make it fall over by putting in invalid stylesheets but its not a very tidy solution :roll: .
