How to validate textbox1 from textbox2 in a form?

hi... i want to customize form 402 Sales Order Statistics
i add another field for this form
in this form there is already have "Inv. Discount Amount" (in this form named control30)

<Control30> - OnValidate()
UpdateInvDiscAmount(1);

from my additional field i want to execute that code also
how to do that?
i add this code UpdateInvDiscAmount(1); to my field in the form
but there is an error message that said another user has been modified................

make sure you have been modifing same rec(sales line) in your function UpdateInvDiscAmount();

... Meaning that you probably have 2 different record-variables both changing the same record starting from the same version.

So
R1.GET(); // gets version N of a record
R2.GET(); // gets version N of a record
R1.MODIFY; // writes an updated version N of a record to the DB (that contains version N, so ok), creating version N+1
R2.MODIFY; // ERROR because R2 is version N and in the database is written version N+1

Fix would be:
R1.GET(); // gets version N of a record
R2.GET(); // gets version N of a record
R1.MODIFY; // writes an updated version N of a record to the DB (that contains version N, so ok), creating version N+1
R2.GET(); // gets version N+1 of a record
R2.MODIFY; // all is ok.
