Active Directory Issue

Hi,

We have a weired problem after we switch the AD domain to a new 2 way trusted domain. As part of the migration we renamed all the windows logins to the new AD login and users could log in to the database with the new login and do their work but if we go to Tools - Security - Windows login and do a lookup at the ID field it doesn't work. It gives an error saying 'The system failed to retrieve the object LDAP xxxxxxx from active directory'.

I also noticed I get the same error if I try to run table 2000000050 - Windows object through a form.

Also any routine that calls ValidateUserID function in Codeunit 418(which looks into SID - Account ID table) gives the error 'User ID XXXX not found', so something related to SID is not correct or NAV cannot see the logins in the trusted domain somehow?

Anyone experienced similar issue and have a solution? Thanks.
