Multiple alternative PO approvers

We need to be able to nominate 2 users as purchase order approvers and for either of those to be able to approve any purchase order.

Has anyone else come upon this requirement and found a way ? It doesnt appears to be possible in the the standard system.

Thank you for the suggestion but I had searched and found that thread already. My requirement is not the same.

I want to be able to nominate 2 approvers who can each authorise any purchase order without any action by the other one.

Additional approver is simultaneously or sequentially approving documents of same nature.

Additional approvers seems to be sequential where once the first approver has approved it, the order goes to the next approver to approve it i.e. a financial director.

We are looking to have more than one simultaneous approver where EITHER of approvers can approve the orders and hence both the approvers can see the orders in the Aprroval Entries form.

It appears that there isnt a way to do this using the standard functionality. It will require customisation.
