Warehouse Request, field "Shipment Date"

Hello,
a colleague made a request about NAV that a Warehouse Shipment should be created with today's job.
I showed him the "Get Source Documents" feature, but then we found out, that the entered Shipment date has nothing to do with the shipment Date which are on the lines (and also could be different for each line).
Could it be, that NAV is not working order line based but only order based?
I was thinking of writing a creation function for these Warehouse Shipment Lines based upon the Shipment Date of the Sales Lines, but i am not yet sure, if this also means i have to change the corresponding Warehouse Requests?
Any hint is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

You're right it doesn't look at the lines only the header. You need to customize it to look at the lines instead._____________________
