Microsoft Dynamics NAV Services not starting.

Hello Everybody!!!!.

I recently uninstalled NAV 2009 SP1 and SQL Server 2005, which was working absoultely fine and installed SQL Server 2008 and NAV 2009 R2 on my laptop.

The problem....
Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server service is not getting started and beacase of this I am not able to use RTC.
When I try to start the service it gives me the below mentioned message.

Windows could not start the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

Things I tried till now....
1. Have changed the Log on As credential of the service, from Network service to my login ID and even tried giving the local machine Administrator id. Din't work

2. Disabled the UAC. -- Din't work

Any help or hint will be highly appreciated

After unistalling NAV2009 SP1, did you delete "Microsoft Dynamics NAV" folder from Program Files?
(before installing NAV2009 R2)

Can you check event viewer also for more details..

How did you install the NAV 2009 R2?
Check the event log for more info why the service is not starting. It is basic step each time having some problem with service.
