how to use logical OR?

This is what I used to do in C/C++:

Do
{
Something....;
Something....;
Something....;
While record.NEXT == 0 || record.Code == value

Now when I try to do the same thing in C/AL

REPEAT
Something....;
Something....;
Something....;
Until record.Next = 0 OR record.Code = value

Compile will give me an error: Tye conversion is not possible because 1 of the operators contains an invalid type.

What is the correct way to express?

Did you try putting in brackets? i.e.

Until (record.Next = 0) OR (record.Code = value);

Just so you also understand what went wrong here, NAV gives the OR operator precedence over the equal sign, so it thinks you are trying to check 0 OR record.code, which results in the type error.
