Fingerprint with LS retail POS

My customer is going to install LS Retail NAV version.
They are looking to use fingerprint access with the POS.
Is LS works with fingerprint access?
Is the device PnP or need development? Recommended devices?
Can we get add-on instead of doing the development?
Who is using fingerprint access with LS Retail.

    As far as I know, the default feature is not available in LS Retail NAV, and I am not aware whether this is planned in further releases.
    But still, you can easily integrate the login process with the biometric device.

    We try to save on development.
    LS did not develop this and they are not looking to do the development.

    There is no standard Fingerprint API out there, so a generic solution would be hard to do.

    Hi,
    We have move from LS Retail.
    We are looking at Dynamic Retail by Dynavics. (www.Dynavics.com)
    They will have finger print working with their POS within one week.
