Item Ledger Entry Already exists

Dear All,

While posting the entry in Purchase Order in Nav 2009, the error occurs as shown in the subject.

Please advice.

    This kind of error generally occur due to manually deleting records from tables.

    But do you know how the Item Ledger Entry No. is generated?

    For Eg: Customer Ledger No is generated based on the Last G/L Entry No.

    Item Ledger Entry No. is generated when we do any transactions with item/ Item Charge through Sales Order,Purchase Order,Transfer Order,Item Journal,etc..

    Are you sure ?

    System will not create any Item Ledger Entries when you use the Item Charge Functionality . It will create the Value Entries .

    This error comes when you manually delete some ILE entries but that entries exist in value entry.so due to entry no. this type of error comes.
