Permission in a folder

Hi,
I'm trying to copy a file from a folder to another folder, after moving the file i've to delete it in the source folder.
Do you know if there are any way to get the permission of the folder or files which are inside??

    Copying copies the file, it does not move it.
    So, instead of copying, you should move it.
