Costing Problem

Hi,
Happy New Year 2011
I have a problem with costing in Dynamic NAV 5.01 + LS Retail
We're using average costing method.
The problem with the costing is we sold an item where we don't have the stock. So the system used unit cost from the item card.
The stock became negative because we don't have the stock but sold the item (I don't know why in the system we don't have the stock but physically we have the item).
The problem appear when we purchase the item. System automatically adjust the cost, but the cost that has been adjust make the stock value weird. if we check the stock qty still minus but the cost is positive. I don't know how to calculate the value.
I tried to check the similar case in this forum but i cannot find it. If there is a similar case please let me know the thread.
If there are none, please give the input so i can fix this problem.
The image file in this thread will show you the problem that we encountered.
Thank you very much

It's one of those issues with average costing and going negative. We always suggest Customers with avg costing to not go negative.
In your case we have modified the LS Statement post and make positive adjustment if inventory is going negative.0 -
Thank you.
We have raised this issue to Microsoft. They send us an object that has been modified to us.
They said that it was a bug for NAV 5.010
