Hi
I have installed navision RTC client on Windows vista System.
whole server installed on Windows 2003 server.
When I am trying to connect with RTC client on Vista machine, it is giving the following error.
"The server "net.tcp://10.1.50.105:7046/DynamicsNAV/Service" is either unavailable or your connection has been lost. Do you want to attempt to reconnect?"
any solution for this.
Is RTC client on Windows vista is not compatible with Windows 2003 server?

Service is started.
I have already around 10 machines having windows xp are able to connect to the server.
Only Windows vista machine RTC client is giving this error when I am trying to open RTC client.Ajay0 -
10 machines working, one not... wow... Is the server machine visible from the Vista machine (not RTC but at all - ping, shared folders...). Is the vista machine on same domain as other machines? Is the classic client working on the vista machine?-Mihail- [MCTS]0

I am able to ping server machine from windows vista machine.
I am able to connect to database using classic client.
Not able to connect through RTC client.Ajay0 -
Actualy you are connecting to the server, but due to some error, the RTC crashes. Check the eventviewer on the vista and service machine to see it. If the server is not reachable, the error message will start with "A server was not found at..."-Mihail- [MCTS]0
