'Post Batch' When Users Still Editing Documents

Hi,

We had the situation yesterday where 1 user was working on preparing a sales credit memo, and another user clicked the 'Post Batch' function to post all draft credit memos. The person editing their new credit memo had not finished entering all the lines, but the document got posted. What is the recommended way to avoid this happening, other than asking all users if they've finished their documents?

    Per default the batch does not filter on Status = Released and the posting function calls the release function automatically. So you could add this filter to the batch posting report telling your users if they release the CM it will be posted. If they don't want it posted they would need to leave it open.
