JOB QUEUE Issue

Why I no need to install the NAS but i can run the Job Queue using NAV Version 4.03 ?
Any master here know about this?
In this case will i need to install this service ?

    The Job Queue is part of NAV 5.0 and newer. If you want to use it in NAV 4.x, you need to downgrade the functionality first. And because NAS is only client without gui, you can run same thing on both. Of course with some differences. For live environment I recommend to use NAS...

    But i Tested even though i install NAS or not install NAS for NAV4.03 but the JOBQUEUE still can run it.
    Do you know why ?


    For the navison version 4.03 will i need to install ?

    Please, could you be more specific? I do not understand what is the problem. There must be some misunderstanding...

    As far I am aware, in NAV 4.0 is called Job Scheduler. It can run by trigger manually from one Navision session, no NAS required. But must one session Navision open all the time.
    But in NAV 5 and above, it is called Job Queue and NAS required to run it and no need to open Navision session.
