Over Consume or Output Production Order

Looking for a way to resolve an over consumption/output issue when posting Production Orders.

Example:
Production Order is for qty 1 with expected consumption qty's of 1 for each item on the BOM.

Problem is our Nav 5.1 system will allow a user to consume and post more than 1. We don't want any consumption more than the expected qty and we don't want more output than the expected output.

Anyone know of a way to stop over posting production orders?

    So you want the system to stop the reflection of what has happened and ultimately cost the product incorrectly and corrupt your inventory? No you cannot configure the system to do this, not sure why you would and how you track and reconcile inventory without it, but if you need it you need to modify the system to achieve it.
