Holding a customers inventory

Is it possible for Nav 2009 (out of the box) to be configured to to be able to store inventory on behalf of a customer? My company runs a warehouse operation and acts as a custodian to hold inventory for its clients. The inventory has to be received\shipped to and from bin locations and simple reports created to ascertain what items are being held on behalf of clients.
Any general pointers or past experiences of a similar requirement would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards

If I am correct, you can use the "Inventory Value Zero" field on the item card. In this case, the inventory will have 0 value on stock (it is not your's). But please, consult it with some financial consultant.0

Thanks for the suggestion, however "Inventory Value Zero" is not visible on the item card. I am using UK version.0
