Sales Shipment per Package Report

Hi,

I'm currently running NAV2009 SP1, and I'm looking at the Posted Sales Shipment list page.

On the action pane, I see the button for "Sales - Shipment per Package" and I was wondering what this report was used for.

It seems like it's some sort of packing list, but was not sure.

Please let me know.

It prints a sales shipment document per unique package tracking no. input on the sales shipment line.

I see.

But let's say that I created a Warehouse Shipment that will shipout entries from 2 separate Sales Orders (the tracking no. on both SO are the same).
Then, I've tried generating the same report "Sales Shipment per Package Report" but the report generated the report per SO basis, and didn't group the Shipment Document per Tracking No.

So is the report setup to show document with the following grouping method? or is there more?
Per Sales Order Per tracking no.

This is not for warehouse sales shipment, it's for regular sales shipment. So it prints the document per sales shipment per unique tracking number.
