navigate function hangs

Dear all,

Just to check out how many G/L entry, item ledger entry and value entry can navision 4 take up?

I have a company with 12 Million G/L entries, 6 million Item ledger entries and 6 million value entries. Whenever i tried to navigate on this records, the system hangs. Is it due to hardware or the Application itself cannot cater such volume of records?

    Are you using SQL Server or Native database?

    Please search the forum on performance, optimization etc... You will find a lot of info on where to get started.

    The amount of records you are describing is not much. You shouldn't get problems.
