Hi Experts,
what is the difference between NAS (Navision Application Server) and Dynamics NAV Server?
I have heard a lot about NAS, e.g to run Job Queue
However, for Dynamics NAV Server, only know from the RTC Installation Document that is required to install Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server.
Can please share if you have info about two above? If we want to use Job Queue and migrate to RTC, mean we have to have 2 granules? :-k
Many thanks.

The Dynamics NAV Server (NST) is the middle-tier of the new 3 tier system. It handles client request from the role-tailored client.
The Navision Application Server is a NAV Classic Client without a screen that runs as a service. It is used to run unattended processes and is use din many base features such as Jib Queue. There are no bugs - only undocumented features.0 -
