enable default filter change in input fields

Hi!
I'm rather new to NAV development and have a hard time doing even the easiest things right now.
My employer wants to be able to change the default filter in a field that take input in a repeater (like http://blogs.msdn.com/b/nav/archive/201 ... input.aspx)
Right now only Code can be marked, Name and all other fields are grey and cannot be selected. How can I enable Name for default filtering?
