No Items are currently in transit....

Dear,
I am creating a transfer order for an item with serial number and want to receive it. On posting it is showing an error "No Items are currently in transit".

How should I check the same error.Please guide.

    check the location code
    is it in transit or not

    You have to first transfer your items to the in-trans location before you can receive it.
    Guess you missed out on the 'ship' part for transfer order.

    Do you have posted ship it?
    Check it in Qty. Shipped.

    Of course you could not received what it has not shipped yet.
