my assumption is that if i set SuppressMessage property to True, i will not get "Callback functions not allowed" errors. Is this correct?

I see this property in the Event Log of the Web Services when my C# mobile application runs into a Callback functions not allowed. I will post an exact message later.

During the webservice on NAV side there cannot be any UI interaction lice confirm or dialog box. It seems that there are some... connect the developers responsible for the webservices (if you are not the one... ;-))

Thanks for helping. I am the one developing...
I do have the dialog.OPEN in my code, but it is handled by IF GUIALLOWED THEN

    I also have file.OPEN

Though it does not produce any UI. Is it still considered 'not supported'?

I removed all the dialog.OPEN functions and i am still getting this error.
debugging is useless because it simply stops on webservice call.

when i run the same function from classic client there is absolutely no UI.

when i call it using a web service, it says: Callback functions not allowed.

any suggestions on how this can be debugged?

That there is no UI doesn't mean that there is no Page/Form used to do something, even when the Page/Form is not displayed. As I wrote, try to use debugger or some temporary messages to trace where the problem is...
