                    Hi there.
i need the user to define the file name where they want to export the file generated by the XML port.
Is that possible ??
Just like the dataport does.
Thanks

            Yes this is possible.
 First create a variable of codeunit Common Dialog Management.
 Then when you write code to create a new file insert function from this codeunit.open.
 Example
 testfile.CREATE(CDM.OpenFile(Text003,'',4,'*.xml',1));
 where testfile is of datatype file.
 CDM is the variable of that codeunit comman dialog Managment.
 Text003 is the Window Title.
 '' is the default file name.
 4 is the default file type.
 *.xml is the Filter String
 1 is the action that is save in this case.
