Cronus Database does not match data in NAV 2009 manuals

I am currently working through a number of NAV 2009 manuals including Financials and Inventory Management. In both of these when trying to complete demonstrations and labs, I have found that the data speicifed for use within the demo does not match that in the database. This is the database as provided with the NAV 2009 SP1 installation.
Example:
Page 1-17 of the Inventory Management manual states
'The second-to-the-last item ledger entry of item 1968-S shows that two pieces were returned on 01/17/10 and put back into the RED location with the SALES department code.
In reality the date of this entry within the Cronus database is 16/01/2011.
Other example from the Financials manual involve different amounts as well as dates, resulting in almost all demonstrations not working without first investigating the database and finding out the correct values and dates.
My manuals were provided by the MS Partner company that provided my training, I do not have access to current manuals via Partner Source.
Has there been a new Cronus database released that has different data to that used within a particular release of the manuals.
Thanks
Andy

Probably this is due to the fact that the manuals are based on NAV 2009 (with standard working date in January 2010) and not NAV 2009 SP1 (with standard working date in January 2011) .0

I've noticed problems like this since they start putting the manuals up for download in version 3.7.
The data problems are not sever, you can still get through your training without problems.Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog
