Unable to see the total sessions in SQL

hi,
One of our clients is not able to see total sessions in the database information window. It always shows as 1.

they are on sql server 2005

Than you need to set correct permissions on the SQL... already discussed.... ;-)

Thanks but user already has the following

Server Roles Securityadmin + Public
User Mapping (NavisionDB) DB_Owner + Public

I don't think that the Securityadmin role is enough for viewing sessions. Try Processadmin.

BTW Processadmin is NOT needed!

"sysadmin" role is required. You can check following posts for more information.

That's not true! It is NOT REQUIRED!

In the navision role "All Users" you have to add tabledata 2000000009 session with read permission and after that synchronize all users.

We solved it with workarround SQL cmd: GRANT VIEW SERVER STATE TO PUBLIC enabling server wide permission just to view system tables without constraint on currently logged user
