what is the use of FilterGroups?

Hi All,

I want to know tyhe purpose of filtergroups in Navision.

If anyone already used this, Kindly explain the use of filtergroups with an example.

  Check in C/Side Reference Gidue - there is help ,with some example
  About purpose, i think main purpose is to set a filter that user can't change
