how to count variable?

hi all, i want to count variable
how to do that?
BFile.TEXTMODE(TRUE);
BFile.WRITEMODE(FALSE);
BFile.OPEN('C:\Test.txt');

REPEAT
BFile.READ(vstring);

Pos4 := STRPOS(vstring,'LOC');
IF Pos4 = 1 THEN
vstring4 := COPYSTR(vstring,1,1000)

i want to catch , how to count the bold one
it's still failed

    What do you mean by Count? Count of distinct values? What about inserting them into some temp table and count the records there?

    Loc is a variable of type Text or Code.
    Loc.Count is a syntax error, unless you have more than one variable called Loc.

    yes...
    loc is not record
    it just variable
    so i think it cannot be count

    i create another integer variable and then +1
    so it solved
    thanks
