How can I control column width on the Role Center

Here is the problem:
I have customized my Role Center to include a "My Responsibilities Centres" that works as e.g. "My Vendors".
However - the Code field comes up showing only the first letter - making it very difficult to identify each record. Only if I removes all other fields - the Code field is fully visible. ](*,)
I assume that it is correct that no proberties sets the column width in the page designer ?!? :-k
Please educate me or help me asking MS to fix this in SP2 :shock:

You can not modify column width in pagedesigner only by using configuration / Personalization and with the hotfix mentioned installed.
