Navision 2.6 Performance

We are seeing performance issues that have only surfaced afteran upgrade from NF 2.01 to 2.6b. It seems to hit only after prolonged periods of low activity (e.g. in the am) and when loading up objects (not running codeunits e.g. posting). Have already checked for ommission of set keys or dodgy keys. Database size os 3GB. NF is running on a dual 1GHz processor server with RAID-5 but the RAID array's cache is set to its minimum. Have just also recreated the performance issues on another server that does not use RAID when the database was all located on the same physical vol! Anyone? Anyone?
Cheers,
Mark

The Raid 5 System is your prob. When you split your Database in 5 parts an then you put it on a raid 5 system, the Navision splits the Data to write to the Database into 5 parts, and these 5 parts where splittet a second time by the Raid controller, you understand ??

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quoteWe've actually resolved this issue thanks. We did it with a combination of inserting a missing setkey, moving from RAID 5 to 1 and splitting the database across 3 files.
