Commerce Gateway RS - NAS Problem

Hi!
I want to integrate BizTalk with Navision. Everything seems to be installed properly (BizTalk, Navision, NAS). The NAS-service is also running.
Also the BizTalk Orchestrations are started from Navision but when BizTalk wants to communicate with NAS an error is thrown in the event-log:
"The adapter failed on an attempt to transmit a message going to send port with the address "172.22.81.22:7528 (CRONUS USA, Inc.)". Details: "Unexpected error in Commerce Gateway Custom Adapter.
Original error message:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Message rolled back into BizTalk"."
When I'm testing the Commerce Gateway with System Check the connection with the NAS is tested positiv?
Has anyone a solution to this problem?
Thanks!

So, I figured it out myself.
The solution was pretty simple:
I just had to check the "Use Company ID" option in the BizTalk Partner Setup.

Thomas,
I am getting the same error as you had got while installing commerce gateway with biztalk 2004. I tried out what you had to solve this problem, but i still continue to get the same error.
When i run the System check report i get no errors. What else do need to check to make sure the integration works?
Thanks in advance..

Hi,
We are using MS BizTalk for EDI with the Covast EDI Accelerator. Now i am getting the same problem:
"Unexpected error in Commerce Gateway Custom Adapter.
Original error message:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Message rolled back into BizTalk".
I made several Installation (for Tests & Prod) with MS BizTalk and Commerce Gateway, but I never had this problem.
Does anyone have the solution?
Thanks in advance,
Best Regards,

Hello Martin,
I have the same error: Covast - EDI & Navision CG on BizTalk server result in: "object reference not set". Did you manage to solve this issue?
I'm currently in the process of trying to solve this issue.
Kind Regards,
Martin

I could resolve it on my own. I was using the same format of the schema as a default orchestration would have generated. Hence the conflict. I Needed to change the setup of the orchestration.0

This issue had nothing to do with Covast. The problem originated from migrating old BizTalk 2002 DocDef's to BizTalk 2004 DocDef's. When doing so one has to add BizTalk 2004 specific fields, like CompanyID, in the DocDef. Without CG starts complaining "object reference..."
Be aware that when migrating to 3.70B together with BizTalk 2004 (or BizTalk 2002) one has to copy CGReqClient40.dll to client machines, and register it using gacutil.
Kind Regards,
