ERROR: Host is not Answering

Dear All,

I have some problem.

1. My server use Navision Database Server (Navision service)
2. My Server is Windows 2000
3. My client is Windows XP and Windows 2000

My problem is some of client is cannot login. it's show error "Host is not Answering"......How to solve it?

remark:
1. I already fix server ip address in file "Hosts"
2. In login Screen, I already try to fill in "Server Name" with Server IP address but it's still show the error.
3. I already try to delete ZUP file. but it's still show the error.

How to solve this problem?

    Check, whether you have EndOfLine after last entry in Hosts file- enter empty line after last entry.

    Are you using a different TCP/IP portnumber than the default one (2407) for the Navision server?
    Can you PING the server in a DOS-box?
