Hi all,
I am trying to do an upgrade from NAV 3.6 to NAv 2009 SP1 DB.
I have the upgrade toolkit manual for upgrading from NAV 3.7 to 2009 SP1.
Do I need to follow the same procedure for upgrading from NAV 3.6 to 2009 or is there any any different procedure?
If anybody already done upgrdation from NAV 3.6 to 2009 SP1.Kindly reply me to this query.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Chandru.

You should do at least make a dataconversion from version 3.6 to 3.7 or 4.0.
That means upgrade of tabels (no forms, codeunits, etc)
There ARE topics of this in forumRegards

It's probably best if you do this upgrade incrementally rather than in one step. 3->4/5->2009 will probably be the best way to ensure that your data remains coherent over the course of the upgrade.0

Hi Chandru....
Do a upgrade from 3.6 to 4/5 first and then do 5 to 2009 sp1.
It will take time but its the right procudeure to do it.with warm regards

Ya...there should be incremental upgrade. It is very crucial task.you have to identified fields which r replaced in 2009.
Good Luck :thumbsup:0
