Sometimes my computer goes crazy when Internet Explorer gets confused, and it opens like 100 new windows. Next time that happens I'll take a screenshot.

It just happened again. I've tried to figure out what causes it, but haven't been able to recreate it. The closest that I come to explaining it is when you close a tab, while mibuso is refreshing (you know, after you submit a post at some point it refreshes automatically), it gets confused and wants to display the new content anyway, it doesn't know where to go, so it creates a whole new window, and at that point it gets stuck in an endless loop creating new windows until memory is gone. I've tried clicking away the new windows but I can't keep up. I've tried closing the group while it's happening but that doesn't stop it. Now I just wait until it stops by itself and then close the group.

Try to time it after it starts refreshing, but before the refresh shows up. I've tried to recreate it but couldn't do it, it only happens once in a great while. I am on Vista though, and don't recall ever having this problem on XP.

This is a screenshot of how my Windows XP Start Button displays the programs at this time:

When I hover the mouse, the programs become visible:

I think I'll gonna reboot my laptop :-k

i just have had a network failure for sql server (e.g.: a network cable unplugs while you have a nav db open)
...............the sql server is my own pc :?

EDIT: :( i think i overload my laptop...i was rebuilding 10 indexes (Primary key from nonclustered to clustered) on a 8GB table while i was trying to open excel, browsing a client monitor table filtered with nonkey fields and browsing internet...
I think this caused sqlserver service to shut down, thus screwing up my test Database, that now is completely useless...too bad
