Dear All,
I am trying to create new Dimension Focus. I am getting an error message "Error:
Cannot create a record in Dimension priorities (DimensionPriorityTable). Dimension priority ID: 4.
The record already exists."
But none of the Dimension focus has the combination which I am giving I am taking :Cost Centre & the Ledger Account
Can any one help me in this?
Thanks & Regards,

Hi vivektaurian,
It should be an record in the dimension set with the same name.0 -
Just look on indexes in these tables (DimensionSetTable and DimensionPriorityTable)
The record already exists in these tables with your index.going to Europe0 -
Hi Vivek,
This is P P Sriram Kumar, this looks to be repeatition of CC and Ledger account in the dimension focus ? let us know if you have found different solution to this problem.

The PriorrityId will generated by the system for each combination
of the dimensions that are selected while creating a dimension focus.
When a new focus is created the system first searches whether
the combination is available (like cost center & ledger Account)
If is available the DimensionSetTable takes the priorityId from the DimensionPriorityTable, it wont create a new priorityId
If the combination is not available then it will create a new priorityId.
In your case i think it is a unique combination
so the system should generate a new priorityId
I think may be numbersequence problem.
Try to create the focus by changing the numbersequence of the
Dimension Priority Id in GL Parameters...Kranthi0
