Inventory Valuation Report (1001)

Dear Friends,

this report has an option screen to allow user to enter start date and end date, but i notice sometimes when the report is run for say 1/5/2010..31/5/2010 even though there is no value for this period in the system report still gives some figures in the Value fields of the report.

When i checked the coding under Value Entry dataitem i found that the date filtering is either not used or used from 0D until End Date. See below. is it correct???

IF EndDate <> 0D THEN
SETRANGE("Posting Date",0D,EndDate);

Shoudl i change it to
SETRANGE("Posting Date",StartDate,EndDate) ?????????

Our user is asking why the system shows figures??

    Read full code and see the code wirtten enddate <> 0d then........
    that is calculates inventory for As of less then startdate either there are no entries between startdate and enddate.
    even if item has transaction before startdate it will show only inventory status for As of < startdate.

    You should Try some another report for you requirment except this.
