Role & Permissions Help for a Newbie NAV 5.0 with LS Retail

Hi,

First of all apologies for maybe sounding a little dumb.

I am working for a customer, who has a solution that is bespoked to them, based on a NAV 5.1 with LS Retail and also a Call centre add in. they have asked me to look into creating a role with certain permissions to restrict users with a Store Log In to not be able to delete and amend etc...

The question i am asking, is wen adding permissions, do i need to restrict acces via the table and form or just by the form?

    I suggest to just use Tabledate object type to setup your permission. It will take care of 90- 100. There might be instances where you have to setup permission at form for certain users. Also LS has some additional Permission Group assigned at staff level that you should use as well.
