Report Issue

With the way I have my report structed I am having an issue with filtering out sections with no data to show for it. Is there a way I can ShowOutput(False) to the header of a DataItem below it?
For instance:
Table 1 - Contains a list of Headers like Jan Feb Mar etc
->Table 2 - Contains the data to be printed if present.
It seems I do not know if the Month with be empty until I get to the Table 2 Header and then its too late the Month is already printed on the report.
For Example:
March
->Table 2 Data Item
->Table 2 Data Item
April
->Table 2 Data Item
May
-> No data item but still Mar header still shows
June
->Table 2 Data Item
I know this is something simple. Thanks for the help.

There is a property for report dataitems PrintOnlyIfDetail. Try setting that to Yes.
Another option is to put code in the OnPreDataItem trigger
IF COUNT = 0 THEN
CURRREPORT.BREAK;0 -
Thanks. What I ended up doing it just saving the two fields I needed for the first header into globals and only showing them in the next data item body area when count<>0.0
