Upgrade from 3.60 to NAV2009

Can anyone confirm if I can do a one-step upgrade from 3.60 to NAV2009?
I haven't found anything on the MBS knowledgebase, except article 926729 which covers upgrades to version 4. But it says:
North American versions
You can upgrade directly to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 from the following North American versions of Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision:
• Navision Attain 3.1
• Navision Attain 3.6
• Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision 3.7
So I would assume that I can upgrade directly from 3.6 to NAV2009, right?

When I look into the NAV 2009 Upgtk-folder, I notice these Quick Guides:
Upgrade Quick Guide 370_2009.doc
Upgrade Quick Guide 400_2009.doc
Upgrade Quick Guide 500_2009.doc
Which make me believe that you need at least NAV 3.70 in order to do a direct upgrade. No support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0 -

Thanks for the link. I DID in fact search the forums, but I searched on "Upgrade 3.60 to NAV2009" - this article is listed under "Upgrade 3.6 to NAV2009" and so it did not show up in my search.Ron0 -

I haven't found any reference to upgrades to versions prior to 3.70 in the current upgrade documents - it's as if prior versions didn't exist. Not even "If your version is prior to 3.7, you must first upgrade to 3.7"
The thread on 3.6 upgrades mentions the primary difference between 3.6 and 3.7 was in the Inventory granules, and we don't use Inventory at all. So I'm going to "pretend" that it is a 3.7 database and give it a shot.Ron0 -
I suggest to look at upgrade step 1 and 2 from 3.6 to 3.7 before making the decision to upgrade directly to 2009.0
