Non Unique Column Reference - Help

Im trying to access the Item Category table in Nav 5 throu NODBC but i got the error mess "Non Unique Column Reference "Replenishment Rule Code". How to solve this problem. I need this table in excel pls help me

    Hello, two of your column have the same caption. Check the captions on each field in that table.

    :) Thanks a lot Rashed now it works fine. i have changed the caption. another one question

    is nodbc catch caption only?

    Nodbc displays the Captions only. So if you are running in different languages they'll see the fields in their language.

    Tnx Rashed now i understand. why i couldn't access the ITEM table through nodbc. i got 'too many column some columns are omitted' why i get this error? navision ppl said it can work but they didnt tell the solution. do u kn anything abt it?

    I don't know, the NODBC developer who wrote it could answer that.

    About the number of columns, you can change it in the registry.
    Look for the the MaxColSupport key and change it to e.g. 300.

    Hello,

    I've got the same problem with ODBC (Navision 2009 "classic")
    "Non Unique Column Reference" but I dont find 2 columns which have the same caption.

    Sorry,

    After having looked for doubloons for the 4th time (in the same table !!!) I finally found 2 columns whith the same caption !

    When you design the table, click on show Column and select Caption.

    This shows the caption and makes it easier to search for double captions.
