OnPreSection/OnPostSection - RTC reports

Hi

If we write some code for example assgining values to some variables, writing some business logic in OnPreSection/OnPostSection of reports wll this logic executes in RTC reports when I create layout suggestion.

I know that SHOWOUTPUT , we need to handle in a different way in RTC layout. What about some code if we write in OnPre/OnPost section?

Sections are typically C/SIDE (so not RTC). So not usable for RTC reports ...

OnPreDataItem,OnAfterGetRecord etc., are also C/SIDE,
but when we write code in these, RTC reports are executing this code.

Is it not for Sections?

Ture and that's what I meant with "typically C/SIDE (so not RTC)". The triggers you mentiond are data related and as such also applicable for RTC (whereas section are actually layout related - although you can use them also to manipulate date).

you mean to say , the code written in data item triggers will be run in RTC reports, but the code written in sections will not work for RTC reports?
