the tool : ListBox is tinted???

Once upon a time, a long long time ago, Navision was intending to use listboxes on forms, so it added the button for these to the toolbox already. The listbox function wasn't working yet, at that time, so it was grayed out - to prevent anyone from using it prematurely. Then it was discovered that listboxes wouldn't be not very practical, compared to what tableboxes and lookup/drilldown functions can do, and the listbox tool never became activated.

Why it is still there in the toolbox? Nobody knows. Will it ever become active? Very likely not - it is doomed to stay gray forever. The poor listbox is looking to its friends in the toolbox with envy, all these tools may present themselves in all glory to all those happy users at many occasions, teaming up to make the pretty interface. But some day, the good fairy will come along and release the listbox from its chains, freeing it up to move to another software environment. Then it will live happily ever after.
