Hi,
Can we have the Native database in NAV 2009. Is it necessary that there should be always SQL server for Nav 2009?
Suppose if the NAV 2009 database is in the SQL server. If any modifications done at the client side at the form level. How does it will reflect to the end user????

NAV2009 has both a Classic Client and Role Tailored Client (RTC). For RTC SQL Server is mandatory. Classic is essentially same client as for any release prior to NAV2009 and can be used both on Native and SQL Server.0
