Where to start?

Hello,

We are about to implement Navision 4.0 anytime next week in our company. Does anyone have any suggestion on where to start in understanding the following?

1. Ins and outs of implementation of Navision
2. Dos and Donts in using navision
3. Getting started and understanding customization with Navision.

Any help would be appreciated.

    First question is not "Where to start ?" but "Where are you now ?"

    Depending of existing management system and what part of you business you want to manage with Navision, there are a lot of possible situations.

    But mainly, Navision deployement consists on the following steps, if no customizations required :
    1. Setup of Navision (Company information, G/L Accounts , ...)
    2. Input Master Datas (Item, Customer, Vendor ...) from the old system - or manual input if no old sys.
    3. Eventualy input of old transactions ...

    That's a very simplified shema of the work.

    BUT ... first question is : "What suggests your NSC ?" It will be their job to propose and manage this important period before start...
