using @* in Setfilter

Hi All
The Item Ledger Entry table we have a field "Issued For".The Issued For field we have given the data like this For Eg: Branch Transfer from Bangalore,Branch Transfer from Hyderabad,Mechanical,Grinding Etc ..
I have a report using this same filed "Issued For ".but i need to filter the records like this @*BR.TRFR* in the Reports .How can i use the same filteration in the reports .
I have given the code like this
recItemLedgerEntry.SETFILTER(recItemLedgerEntry."Issued For",'<>%1','@*BR.TRFR*');
But this is not working in the reports!
Please help me out !!!

But my report to filter the records without the branch transfer details from Issued For
field .I need to filter with the field issied for with <>%1 ,BR.TRFR.

yea the above filteration is not working in that Reports.0

right. but in report you can skip these records that r lying in SETFILTER without '<>%1'.0 -

The way you are doing this is completely wrong. You should have a code field that drills down to a list of options with a key on that field and filter an option. Then you need to carefully think out the options so that they work for you.
The problem here is not code, the problem is that you have not solved the business requirement of the customer correctly.David Singleton0 -

try this one..
SETFILTER(Issued For",'<>%1','@*BR*TR*FR*');
this will work if 'Issued For' field is a Text or code data type only.....0 -

So I suggest you don't place the filter on some variable in your report, but on the dataitem (aka a record) iterating those ledger entries.
