Document Approval Status problem

Hello,

our customer started using approvals for purchase orders and it "almost" works. One of the users sends order for approval and created Approval Entry remains in status 'Created' and does not change to 'Open', thus approver doesn't see the request for approval. Order's status changes to 'Pending approval'.

Once I managed to re-create the problem when approvals notification by mail was on. With invalid SMTP settings it takes a while for system to produce error message. If users closes order form in the mean time the described above occurs. If user doesn't close the order form, navision produces email error and order returns to Open status.

Unfortunatelly, after turning off notification by mail did not solve the problem for this user.

Document template is setup with ApproverType::Approver, Limit Type::No limits.

I'm open for suggestions.
