"Communication protocol mismatch between the client and the server"

Both the RTC and the Server are version 6.0.27808.0

Previously it wouldn't find the server at all, then I turned off the firewall on the server and now have this. The other thread with this error the submitter has mismatched versions, so I don't know that upgrading to SP1 is the solution here, but I can try. There was a thread I saw where the user had severe issues after going to 2009 SP1, so I didn't want to try that yet. Any input would be much appreciated.

Edit: Also, in case it matters, I am connecting to the server address 192.168.68.71:7047/DynamicsNAV

    The default port is 7046 not 7047

    ara3n is right.
    But, I would like to add one other thing.
    Basically message "Communication protocol mismatch between client and server"
    when, the NAV version on Client and Server differs from eachother.

    I mean, e.g. If SERVER has NAV 2009 SP1 and on Client installed is NAV 2009 Pre-SP1.
