Interaction between Parent Page and Child Page

Hello All,

Merry Christmas to all.

I have created flowfield "Sub Total" in the "Sales Header" table, which calculates the running total for the particular "Sales Order" by summing the "Line Amount" column of the "Sales Line" table. I am using NAV 2009 RTC. I know how to send message to the Parent form when a Subform is updated using XmlDoc. But, this workaround doesn't work in Role Tailored Client.

What I want to do is, when an Item is entered in the "Sales Order Subform" Page (child page), the "Sales Order" Page (parent page) should reflect updated values in the "Sub Total" flowfield.

Any and every help is really appreciated.

P.S. I don't want to implement the OnTimer functionality.
